In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next‑generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high‑quality, real‑world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. This engagement centers on operating and setting up both hobbyist (e.g., Makera Carvera) and industrial (e.g., Haas VF-2) CNC machines, interpreting engineering documentation, and troubleshooting across a range of materials and geometries. Contributors will provide input on machining processes, best practices, and issue resolution, ensuring high standards of quality and consistency throughout the project. /p h3Scope of Work /h3 ol liSet up and operate CNC machines across multiple platforms, including desktop and industrial models /li liLoad and verify CNC programs, install tooling, configure work-holding, and set work offsets for various projects /li liRun first-piece cycles, inspect machined parts against drawings,



and adjust setups to ensure dimensional accuracy /li liPerform routine machine maintenance and diagnose issues such as tool wear, chatter, or dimensional drift /li liUtilize precision measurement instruments (calipers, micrometers, indicators, CMM) to validate parts and ensure compliance with specifications /li liInterpret engineering drawings, GDT callouts, and manufacturing documentation to guide part production /li liCollaborate and provide feedback to CAM programmers and other stakeholders on setup optimization and manufacturability /li /ol h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ol li5+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience, including both setup and production /li liExpertise operating Haas control systems (VF-2 or similar platforms) required /li liFamiliarity with hobbyist/desktop CNC platforms (such as Makera Carvera) strongly preferred /li liProven proficiency in blueprint reading, GDT interpretation, and use of advanced measurement tools /li liExperience working with a range of materials, including both metals and plastics /li liOutstanding written and verbal English communication skills for clear documentation and feedback /li liDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot machining processes, optimize setups, and maintain a safe, organized workspace /li /ol #J-18808-Ljbffr
