Job DescriptionHitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self‑motivated Senior Train System Engineer who thrives in a fast‑paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks in Engineering Department. The position is based in PISTOIA - IT.
Accountabilities
- Preparation of documents
- Electrical architecture of high,
medium and low voltage
- Preparation vehicle architecture of the TCMS
- Definition of traction curves and development of driving simulations
- Development Functional specifications for the functional integration of the vehicle
- Preparation of the vehicle test specifications
- Support for performance and functional tests of the vehicle
Required Skills / Knowledge
- Experience of at least 5 years in the railway industry with the role of Train Systems Engineer
- Preferred past experience in Main Line / High Speed Rolling Stocks
- Knowledge of the basic concepts of the RAMS disciplines is an advantage.
- Knowledge of the main regulations relating to on-board systems in the railway business
- Knowledge of the main office automation software/tools (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Knowledge of the electrotechnical, electronic, system engineering processes and the main regulations in the railway field is required, in order to
