Galileo is a fast-growing renewable energy IPP, investor and operator, currently in the very dynamic start-up phase. Since our foundation in 2020, we have secured a pipeline of over 17 GW of solar PV, onshore wind, offshore wind and storage projects across nine markets in Europe.

We are looking for our new Compliance Manager to play a critical role in
ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and ethical
practices across the Galileo group. This person will be based in Milan (with the possibility of hybrid remote working) and report to the General Counsel.

What you’ll do:
- Support the ongoing implementation, maintenance and
continuous improvement of the company’s compliance framework, policies and
procedures, proposing updates or new initiatives where appropriate.
- Monitor the effectiveness of existing compliance
controls and processes, identify opportunities for improvement and recommend
pragmatic solutions to enhance efficiency and consistency across the
organization.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits to identify




potential compliance risks and areas for improvement and independently manage
follow-up actions and remediation plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including
legal, finance, operations, and project management, to integrate compliance
considerations into business processes and decision-making.
- Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and
industry trends, and proactively advise senior management on potential impacts
and opportunities.
- Coordinate and deliver existing compliance training
programs and, where needed, develop additional training or awareness
initiatives to address emerging risks or business needs.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for our
shareholders, plus for regulatory agencies, industry associations, and other
external stakeholders on compliance-related matters, in coordination with the
General Counsel where appropriate.
