This transversal role focuses on Managing all controls aspects of data center design and construction projects. You will provide technical expertise, develop conceptual designs, oversee commissioning processes, represent the company in project meetings, and ensure the smooth implementation of our building management and control systems. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 h3Design Leadership Product Ownership /h3 ul liAct as the discipline owner for Controls engineering within the Engineering organisation. /li liLead the development and continuous improvement of DATA4 Controls design standards across all European campuses. /li liDefine and maintain design principles, technical specifications, standard details and approved solutions for data centre developments. /li liSupport the development of scalable and repeatable data centre products while driving consistency across projects and geographies. /li liEnsure Controls strategy and designs align with operational, commercial, sustainability and customer requirements.



/li /ul h3Conceptual Design /h3 ul liManage the design and development of conceptual and detailed controls systems for new and existing data centers. /li liManage the design and development of conceptual and detailed controls systems for new and existing data centers. /li liAnalyze power and cooling requirements to optimize efficiency, reliability, and sustainability through integrated controls strategies. /li liSelect and specify controls equipment and software based on industry best practices, project requirements, and interoperability considerations. /li liEnsure controls system design seamlessly integrates with other systems (electrical, mechanical, IT, Security etc) through close collaboration with relevant teams. /li /ul h3Construction Commissioning /h3 ul liOversee the commissioning process for new and upgraded controls systems, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets. /li liDevelop and execute comprehensive commissioning plans in accordance with industry standards and best practices alongside the commissioning team. /li liIdentify and resolve controls commissioning issues efficiently to maintain project progress. /li /ul h3Technical Expertise and Representation /h3 ul liStay at the forefront of the latest trends and technologies in data center controls. /li liServe as the company's internal expert on all controls aspects of data centers. /li liProvide technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders across various departments. /li liRepresent the company in external project meetings, discussions, and negotiations with vendors and consultants. /li liCommunicate clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring transparency and understanding. /li liManage and maintain technical documentation related to data center mechanical systems. /li /ul h3Continuous Improvement /h3 ul liIdentify opportunities for improvement in data center controls systems and processes, and the systems with which they interface.



/li liManage the implementation of new technologies and best practices to enhance reliability, efficiency, and sustainability. /li liAnalyze data and performance metrics to identify areas for optimization. /li /ul h3RESPONSIBILITES IN TERMS OF IMS CERTIFICATIONS /h3 ul liH S: Respect and enforce health and safety rules. /li liEnvironment: Respect and enforce environmental policies. /li liInformation security: Respect and enforce information security policies /li liEnergy: Respect and enforce the policy of reducing energy consumption. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 h3Education and experience /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience. /li liMinimum of 7+ years of experience in data center design and construction or equivalent experience in critical infrastructure. /li liProven track record of success in Managing and executing complex mechanical engineering projects. /li liEnglish: fluent /li /ul h3Technical skills /h3 ul liExperience on Controls Systems and disciplines with which they interface /li liStrong understanding of data center thermal management, power distribution, and fire suppression systems. /li liExperience with commissioning and startup of data center mechanical systems. /li liProfessional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent. /li liLEED AP certification or equivalent in Engineering. /li liExperience with data center infrastructure management software (DCIM) focusing on electrical systems. /li liExperience with project management methodologies and best practices. /li /ul h3Soft skills /h3 ul liExcellent communication, interpersonal, and Management skills. /li liStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. /li liProactive: Takes initiative and ownership of tasks without needing constant direction. /li liAccountable: Admits mistakes, learns from them, and delivers on commitments. /li liAgile: Learns quickly and applies new knowledge in practical situations. /li liCollaborative: Works effectively with diverse teams and adapts communication styles accordingly. /li liResilient: Maintains a positive attitude and composure under pressure. /li liIndependent: Works autonomously and takes calculated risks. /li liData-driven: Makes decisions based on evidence and analysis. /li /ul p#group /p /p #J-*****-Ljbffr
