You will join the product engineering area, in an international environment, with continuous training and the support of experienced colleagues. /ppFind out more about our working environment and benefits in the Career section: /ph3bAbout the role /b /h3pYou will be based at our HQ in Minturno (LT) and will follow the product throughout its entire life cycle: you will support the definition of technical specifications and performance criteria, take direct ownership of testing and debugging firmware, software, user interfaces and product features, and follow the product into the field, gathering feedback from customers and the sales network and reporting it back to RD for future development. You will work according to company guidelines and procedures and the direction of your managers, gaining progressive autonomy in technical diagnostics and in dealings with suppliers and customers. The role involves travel in Italy and abroad (around 20%), to customers and suppliers for on-site activities and to industry trade shows and events. /ph3bKey responsibilities /b /h3ulliSupport the definition and review of functional requirements, SoW (Statement of Work), components and expected performance, including menu architecture and DMX control, contributing to the drafting of validation criteria. /liliCarry out testing and debugging on firmware, software, user interfaces and control menus, verifying product functionality and performance against specifications, and write technical reports on the results to share with suppliers,



colleagues and the managers of the business functions involved. /liliPrepare comparison test reports on functionality and performance between Music Lights products and those of competitors, identifying and documenting areas for improvement and strengths. /liliAnalyse functional deviations from project specifications, engaging technically with suppliers and customers to resolve non-conformities (functional, performance and/or firmware) based on the solutions approved by the function manager, and take part in analysing feedback and implementing it in future product development. /liliSupport colleagues in sales and the sales network in product presentations and demos, and support the marketing, documentation and customer service teams by providing the technical information and data needed for manuals, guides and demonstration activities. /li /ulh3bRequirements /b /h3ulliPassion for and experience in professional lighting, in the Concert Touring, Theatre and Broadcast/TV sectors. /liliHands-on use of grandMA3 lighting controllers or equivalent. /liliGeneral knowledge of computer networks and of the main network protocols for lighting and video (sACN, Art-Net, NDI). /liliFamiliarity with the main players in the market, the most widely used products and their technical specifications. /liliEnglish at B2 level, for technical and commercial discussions with customers, suppliers and international teams. /liliIT skills: Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email and calendar management.
