Within the AG Planning & Control Unit , we are looking for a talented and proactive resource to join the team and support to the planning, controlling and forecasting activities of Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A..

The role will focus on the management and coordination of the Parent Company's IFRS Planning process, interacting with multiple Head Office and international contributors. The candidate will also contribute to the Local GAAP Planning process and support the Group Capital Plan activities. The position requires strong financial analysis capabilities, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to operate within a complex multinational environment.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

- Coordinate and manage the Parent Company's planning and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with Group guidelines and methodologies;
- Coordinate the Parent Company's Local GAAP Plan and support Group Capital Plan activities;
- Monitor KPIs and perform variance analyses during actual closings, forecasts and planning exercises;
- Oversee cost planning process, forecasting and monitoring activities across Head Office and Branches cost centers;
- Perform analyses of investment portfolios and investment-related components, with particular focus on IFRS 9 impacts;
- Analyze insurance business performance leveraging IFRS 17, Local GAAP and Solvency II metrics;
- Analyze and monitor non-technical P&L; components, including provisions, extraordinary impacts and other significant items;
- Oversee intercompany reconciliation activities within the Group consolidation system (Tagetik), including data validation, loading and approval workflows;
- Prepare management reporting, presentations and ad-hoc analyses for senior stakeholders;
- Support the coordination and development of a team of professionals located across Italy and Romania;
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning methodologies, reporting processes and finance systems.

Requirements

- University degree in Economics, Finance,



Business Administration or related fields;
- At least 7 years of experience in Planning & Control, FP&A;, Financial Reporting, Accounting, Audit or similar Finance functions;
- Fluent English and Italian;
- Strong knowledge of planning, forecasting, budgeting and management control processes;
- Knowledge of IFRS17 and IFRS9 principles;
- Solid understanding of financial statements, IAS/IFRS principles, and insurance finance processes;
- Experience with planning, consolidation and reporting tools (Tagetik is a strong plus).

Soft skills:
- Good analytical skills;
- Curious and proactive attitude open to changes;
- Good communication skills and teamwork.

What we offer We offer employment at managerial level with the relevant salary, in accordance with the CCNL ANIA for non-executive employees and the Generali Group Company Agreement.

Gross annual salary ranging between 57K and 70K. The final offer will be aligned with the candidate’s professional experience, technical and soft skills relevant to the role, and may include an individual variable component.
