Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

- Operational Delivery Planning: Support on the overall leadership on all operational and technical matters of an event Delivery support and management of operational spend Coordinate with stakeholders (internal/external) to find out their exact event requirements, formulate a plan and execute Research potential suppliers and contractors, work with procurement to negotiate prices Lead on event onsite staging delivery coordinating contractors Manages other team members on defined project tasks Coordinate contactors/suppliers, handle client queries and troubleshoot on the day of the event to ensure that all runs smoothly and to budget Oversee the dismantling and removal of the event and clear the venue efficiently Manage specific pre-event planning Manage and coordinate suppliers and specified event logistics (for example, tentage, big screens, signage, power) Support with Risk Management approach and tracking Manage onsite delivery of the Ryder Cup including coordinating project timelines Oversee the onsite delivery of sustainability initiates
- Strategic Planning: Future Host Nation/Venue evaluation,



review and identify suitable prospects that could deliver on the Ryder Cup strategic objectives for future editions Delivering a long-term target outlook on sustainable initiatives for The Ryder Cup which expand beyond just Ryder Cup Europe and focus on global delivery Work to develop new engagement opportunities across staging and sustainability as potential opportunities for new and existing partner engagement at events
- Information distribution: Create and coordinate Ryder Cup reporting presentations for Ryder Cup Europe LLP Board and Ryder Cup Committee meetings Liaise with sales and marketing teams to publicise and promote the event Produce post-event evaluations/debriefs to better inform future events
- Decision Making: Line management responsibility for Executive or intern level Make operational decisions without escalating to Match Director or Operations Director
- Opportunity to develop core competencies on related Ryder Cup tournaments/Championship Management tournaments
