We are looking for a
Quality Manager
With strong leadership , who wishes to lead and support the Plant and the Company in fostering a culture focused on excellence and the ‘right first time’ principle.
This is a role for an engineer who enjoys getting involved, solving problems on the ground and turning quality requirements into effective manufacturing practices.
The role requires, first and foremost, a strong commitment to working closely with and supporting the production departments, and therefore a focus on ‘building quality day by day’.
At the same time, you possess the personality, the sense of responsibility, and the charisma needed to represent the company to external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical or Electronical Engineering
- Specialization in Quality Systems Management
- Languages: Italian and English, German is a plus
- IATF 16949/ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification
- Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Ishikawa
- At least 6 years’ experience in the same role within multinational organizations
- Stong leadership
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving orientation
- Strong ability to motivate and lead a team
- Someone with excellent ability to manage stress and pressure effectively.
Main responsibilities
- To be the ‘quality benchmark’ for the production department
- Develop, implement, maintain and improve the Quality Management System
- Monitoring processes and managing CAPA
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Plan and manage internal process and system audits
- Coordinate external certification audits and customer audits
- Ensuring the effectiveness of implemented actions through structured follow-ups
- Periodic reporting on quality indicators (scrap, complaints, costs)
The place of work is center Italy and willingness to travel is required. We are looking for a hands-on Quality Engineer with a strong manufacturing background and a genuine interest in staying close to the production process and representing its needs and interests to key stakeholders.
