I am currently representing a well established and historical player in the Italian energy and utilities sector. They are looking to appoint a focused Pricing and Market Analyst for their Gas and Power division to join their team in Verona.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Supply and Portfolio Management. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing energy markets, determining sales prices, and providing strategic support for procurement and risk management. You will play a vital role in valuing the customer portfolio and tracking market trends.

Core duties will include the following tasks.

Calculating and updating internal transfer prices across various customer segments.

Developing fixed and indexed pricing models specifically for the B2B market.

Analyzing supply costs, consumption profiles, and portfolio risk factors.

Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to establish commercial price lists.

Monitoring European and national energy markets including TTF, PSV, and PUN.

Tracking forward curves and futures markets to understand price drivers.

Assisting with price and volume risk analysis to inform hedging strategies.

Generating periodic market reports and automating data collection processes.





The ideal candidate will possess a degree in a quantitative or economic field such as Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Economics. You should bring previous professional experience from an energy utility, trading firm, or specialized consultancy.

Technical requirements include a deep understanding of gas and power market dynamics and proficiency in Excel. Familiarity with data analysis tools like SQL, Python, or Power BI is highly desirable. Candidates should have a solid grasp of risk management indicators and pricing tools, along with good English language skills.

My client offers a permanent tempo pieno contract under the Gas and Water national collective agreement. The salary range is between 38,000 and 43,000 Euros per year, complemented by meal vouchers. The position is based in Verona and offers flexible working hours and remote work options.
