Role Description The Field Engineer role at ALBA Robot is a full-time, on-site position based in Turin. In this role, the Field Engineer deploys and maintains fleets of self-driving Mobility Robots and related systems at customer facilities, ensuring consistent performance and reliability. Day-to-day activities include performing diagnostics, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and providing timely technical support to local stakeholders.

The Field

Engineer collaborates with Operations and Engineering teams to support deployments, collect feedback from the field,



and contribute to continuous improvement of the service. The role also involves documenting interventions, training facility staff on operating procedures, and upholding safety and quality standards at all times.

Qualifications

- Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills to diagnose, resolve, and prevent issues in the field.
- Experience in field service operations, including on-site installation, maintenance, and system monitoring.
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers, internal teams, and non-technical stakeholders.
- Project management capabilities to coordinate deployments, prioritize tasks, and meet agreed timelines.
- Background in engineering, robotics, mechatronics, or a related technical field (degree or equivalent experience).
- Familiarity with autonomous systems, sensors, or mobility solutions is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work hands-on in large facilities, follow safety protocols, and adapt to changing operational needs.
- Proficiency in documenting technical activities and using digital tools for reporting and coordination.
- Availability for national/ international travel as, occasional weekend work or night shift
