AITOWN is looking for an intern/collaborator to join a European Research & Innovation project in digital construction and the built environment.
The opportunity is suitable for students, graduates and early-career researchers with a background in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, Construction, Architecture or related fields who are interested in how AI and digital technologies can transform construction, renovation and building operations.
The work will involve applied R&D; around Generative AI, BIM, Digital Twins and digital applications for construction, with opportunities to experiment with new ideas, rapid prototyping and AI-assisted development.
Waht we look for
- Final-year student, graduate, MSc or PhD in Civil, Building, Construction, Architecture or related fields
- Strong interest, preferably with some experience,
in GenAI and digital construction
- Some exposure to BIM, coding, data or digital tools
- Fluent English
What is noce to have
- Experience with Digital Twins, IoT, computational design or construction data
- Experience with prototypes, apps, automation or AI-assisted coding
- Relevant thesis, research or personal projects
- The position starts as an internship/collaboration and may develop into a longer-term role depending on the evolution of the project and the candidate’s progress.
