Within the HW & FW AIRBORNE SENSOR & EO organizational unit of the Electronics Division, we are looking for a FW Designer for our Campi Bisenzio office. This person will primarily be responsible for the following activities: Development of digital hardware in the context of projects for electro-optical sensor systems, radar sensors, and avionics equipment. Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or Physics Seniority: Junior-Expert Technical knowledge and skills: Skills in developing firmware for FPGAs; Knowledge of major FPGAs: AMD/Xilinx, Intel/Altera, Microchip; Knowledge of hardware description languages VHDL, Verilog, and HLS; It is considered a plus if designers possess some of the following skills: Skills in designing/validating Hi-Speed serial links in FPGA; Skills in implementing Digital Signal Processing functions; Skills and image processing in FPGA; Ability to use and
