The Project Planning Assistant supports our work for a Rome-based international investment group by organizing the technical phases of our financial reviews. You will help maintain the timelines and data structures that allow our team to test the logic of high-stakes commercial decisions. About Blue Oak Consulting
Blue Oak Consulting provides independent advisory on pricing, portfolio economics, capital allocation, and acquisition assumptions. We are not a traditional consulting firm focused on broad transformation programs or high level strategy decks. Instead, we interrogate specific commercial decisions where the financial stakes are high and the existing narrative is not sufficient. Our team looks past corporate language and P&L; complexity to identify where value is leaking or capital is trapped. We work across sectors like software, manufacturing, and healthcare to test whether the assumptions behind a growth plan or an acquisition actually hold under pressure. We do not take transaction contingent fees,



which allows us to be completely honest about whether the economics of a decision make sense. This is a full-time, fully remote position where you will assist project leads in mapping out the logistics and data requirements for complex financial investigations. Rather than managing broad strategy, you will be focused on the mechanics of our engagements for a Rome-based international investment group. You will work within a small team that values logic over presentation style, helping us stay organized as we move from the initial hypothesis through to the execution phase of a project. Because our work is 100 percent remote, you will need to be self-sufficient and comfortable using digital tools to coordinate tasks across different time zones.
