With our One UPS advantage and comprehensive service portfolio, including Polar Speed's in-network pharmacies, we are optimally positioned to keep our clients competitive in an increasingly complex market.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and manage all aspects of air export shipments.Ensure bookings are made at current and accurate rates; consolidate and route shipments in accordance with local office procedures.Monitor and track all outbound shipments from origin to final destination, ensuring timely updates and communication.Send pre-alerts and shipment notifications to destination offices and agents promptly.Communicate effectively with carriers, customers, and internal teams regarding shipment status, delivery schedules, and special handling requirements.Maintain accurate and up-to-date shipment data in the Maestro system, including all milestones and route legs.Verify and ensure accuracy and completeness of export documentation, coordinating with the Customer Service department to obtain missing information as needed.Handle AES (Automated Export System) filings in compliance with export regulations.Build and maintain strong relationships with internal departments, overseas offices, agents, and service providers.Support continuous improvement in production, productivity, and quality standards to achieve departmental goals within set timelines.QualificationsHigh school diploma, GED, or International equivalentBasic knowledge of customs operations, laws and regulations,
and other government departmentsBasic computer skillsBasic understanding of HS systemMinimum 2 years of experience in export freight forwarding or logistics coordination (air export experience highly desirable)Strong knowledge of air export regulations and documentation requirementsExperience with AES filing and export compliance processesExcellent organizational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detailEffective written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and other logistics systemsAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative global teamDemonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a time-sensitive environmentA positive, professional attitude with a strong commitment to integrity, accuracy, and service excellenceCompensation & BenefitsOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $19.10 per hour to $23.90 per hour. Hired applicants are offered annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
