This is a hands-on HR role for someone who enjoys being close to the business and to people, and who has already gained experience in a manufacturing, industrial or production environment.
The HR Specialist will be the day-to-day HR point of reference for the plant population and Plant Management, managing the main people processes related to a manufacturing environment while working closely with the broader People & Culture team.
We are looking for someone who understands that HR in a plant means being present on the floor, knowing the people and the organization, and being comfortable managing practical topics such as working hours and shifts, attendance, blue-collar workforce management, labor relations, HSE requirements and employee issues.
Key Responsibilities
Plant HR Management
- Act as the first HR point of contact for employees and managers at the Piacenza plant.
- Support Plant Management on day-to-day people management topics.
- Build a strong relationship with both blue-collar and white-collar employees, maintaining a visible and approachable HR presence on site.
- Manage employee relations matters and support managers in handling individual people situations.
HR Administration & Workforce Management
- Support the management of attendance, working schedules, shifts, overtime, holidays, leaves and absences, working closely with Payroll.
- Manage HR documentation and administrative processes related to the plant workforce.
- Support onboarding and offboarding activities for plant employees.
- Coordinate HR aspects related to temporary workers, staffing agencies and external workforce when applicable.
Labor & Industrial Relations
- Support the management of labor and union relations at plant level.
- Ensure the correct application of the applicable CCNL, company policies and employment regulations.
- Support the HR team and Plant Management in managing employee relations and disciplinary matters.
- Maintain constructive relationships with employee representatives and relevant external stakeholders.
Recruitment & Workforce Planning
- Manage and support recruitment activities for plant positions, particularly technical and blue-collar profiles.
- Partner with Plant Management to understand workforce requirements and hiring priorities.
- Coordinate recruitment agencies and local partners when needed.
- Support workforce planning in line with production and organizational needs.
HSE & Compliance
- Work closely with the QHSE team to ensure alignment between people management and health, safety and environmental requirements.
- Support the onboarding of employees from an HSE perspective, ensuring completion of required documentation, training and medical surveillance in coordination with the relevant functions.
- Promote compliance with plant rules, company policies and safety procedures.
- Support initiatives aimed at strengthening a strong safety and compliance culture across the plant.
People & Culture
- Support performance management, training and development activities for the plant population.
- Help identify training and development needs together with Plant Management.
- Support employee engagement and communication initiatives at plant level.
- Contribute to broader People & Culture projects and HR initiatives across Energy Dome.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
- Approximately 2-4 years of HR experience, with meaningful exposure to a manufacturing, production or industrial environment.
- Previous experience working with both blue-collar and white-collar populations.
- Good knowledge of Italian employment law and experience with CCNL application and labor/union relations.
- Practical knowledge of plant HR topics such as shifts, attendance, overtime, absences and workforce administration.
- Familiarity with HSE-related people processes in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with recruitment of technical and production profiles is highly appreciated.
- Good command of English.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and HR/payroll systems.
What We Are Looking For
Beyond technical HR knowledge, we are looking for someone who is:
- Practical and hands-on: comfortable dealing with real, day-to-day plant issues.
- Close to people: able to build trust with operators, technicians, managers and colleagues.
- Assertive but balanced: comfortable managing potentially sensitive employee relations topics.
- Organized and reliable: able to handle several operational priorities while maintaining accuracy.
- Solution-oriented: able to understand a problem quickly and propose pragmatic solutions.
- Collaborative: naturally able to work across HR, Plant Management, Payroll and QHSE.
- Comfortable in a fast-growing environment: able to adapt processes and ways of working as the organization evolves.
Why Energy Dome
This is an opportunity to join Energy Dome at a stage of significant industrial growth and to play an active role in developing the People & Culture presence within our manufacturing organization.
The role combines hands-on plant HR responsibility with exposure to the broader People & Culture function, offering the opportunity to contribute both to the daily management of the Piacenza workforce and to the development of Energy Dome’s HR practices as the company continues to scale.
Internally, this positioning is consistent with the wider organization: the latest org chart places Dome Manufacturing within Operations and identifies a dedicated manufacturing organization alongside the central HR/People & Culture function.
What We Offer:
A salary package including: base salary (€35-38k) + 10% premio + stock options plan + welfare, benefits & ticket restaurants
