About the Role
JMC Aviation is recruiting experienced Aircraft TIG Welders to support an ongoing aerospace project in Italy.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced aerospace welders with a strong background in TIG welding thin-gauge aerospace sheet metal, aircraft component repair and working to strict aerospace quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
TIG welding thin aerospace sheet metal.
Welding steel, stainless steel and aluminium alloys down to approximately 0.7 mm.
Repairing aircraft components, including:

Engine exhaust ducts




Rear cuffs
Air intakes
Working in accordance with manufacturer repair schemes and approved aerospace procedures.
Carrying out welding work to the required aerospace quality standards.
Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with applicable technical documentation and procedures.
Maintaining a high standard of FOD awareness and workplace safety.
Working in accordance with Italian safety and security requirements.
Candidate Requirements
Proven experience as an Aircraft TIG Welder within the aerospace industry.
TIG welding experience on thin-gauge aerospace sheet metal.
Experience welding steel, stainless steel and aluminium alloys down to approximately 0.7 mm.
Experience repairing aircraft components, including engine exhaust ducts, rear cuffs and air intakes.
Certification to PS-01-SBR, ISO 24394 or equivalent.
Ability to work to manufacturer repair schemes and approved aerospace procedures.
