Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Milan for a Furniture Salesperson/Designer (Venditore/Progettista Arredamento). The role involves welcoming clients in the showroom, understanding their needs and lifestyle, and guiding them through product options and customized furnishing solutions. Day-to-day tasks include preparing interior layout proposals, creating design concepts and quotations, and presenting these solutions clearly and professionally. The position requires managing the sales process from initial contact to closing, coordinating with internal teams and suppliers, and overseeing order follow-up to ensure accurate delivery and installation. The role also includes maintaining product knowledge, updating displays, and contributing to a positive, customer-focused showroom environment.
Qualifications

• Strong customer service and sales abilities, including relationship building, needs analysis, and consultative selling.
• Competence in interior design or furniture planning,



with experience in space layout, product selection, and aesthetic coordination.
• Proficiency with design and office software (e.g., CAD or 3D tools, MS Office) and ability to prepare clear proposals and quotations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical and design concepts to clients in an accessible way.
• Organizational and time-management skills, including handling multiple projects, follow-up on orders, and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in furniture retail, interior design studios, or related sectors is highly beneficial.
• Knowledge of Italian market trends in furnishings; fluency in Italian and good basic English are an advantage.
• Availability to work on-site in Milan, including possible weekend or extended showroom hours as required.
