This is a great opportunity to work within a high-quality aerospace environment, carrying out specialist surface preparation and finishing activities on aircraft and aircraft components.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out surface preparation and finishing on metal and composite aircraft partsApply conversion coatings, primers and exterior finish paints to aluminium componentsCarry out aircraft paint and coating applications in accordance with relevant specifications and proceduresAccurately measure and control paint thicknessCarry out preparation activities including masking and sandingCarry out aircraft sealant applications where requiredComplete paint and coating work on removed aircraft componentsCarry out localised painting and finishing directly on the aircraftWork safely at height and operate PLE/platform lifts where requiredEnsure all work is completed in accordance with technical documentation,
