Through laser-based wireless power transmission, we aim to overcome the energy limitations of today’s satellites and enable longer, more capable, and more resilient operations in orbit. /ppWe are looking for a bSpace Electronics Engineer /b to support the development of electronic systems for ORiS’s inter-satellite wireless power transmission mission. /ppWorking closely with the Lead Electronic Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, integration, and testing of electronic boards and subsystems, including power distribution, laser control, sensing, data acquisition, actuator interfaces, and onboard communications. /ppThis is a hands-on role covering the full hardware development cycle, from requirements analysis and schematic design to PCB layout, prototyping, debugging, verification, and integration with the spacecraft’s other subsystems. /ph3What You Will Do /h3ulliDesign of the electrical schematics and PCB layout /liliDesign electrical schematics and PCB layouts for power, control, sensing, data acquisition, and communication electronics /liliDevelop and integrate electronic interfaces for laser sources, pointing mechanisms, sensors, actuators, onboard computers, and spacecraft power systems /liliTranslate subsystem requirements and interface definitions into reliable board-level designs /liliSelect and evaluate EEE components considering electrical performance, reliability, thermal constraints, radiation, and space qualification requirements /liliPerform circuit simulations, electrical analyses, power-budget assessments,
