The attorney will support high-stakes regulatory proceedings and policy development for a leading entity in the energy sector.
/p h3Key Responsibilities: /h3 ul liAdvise on compliance with federal and state energy regulations, including FERC, state public utility commissions, and environmental standards.
/li liDraft and file regulatory documents, petitions, and motions in energy-related proceedings before regulatory agencies.
/li liAnalyze proposed regulations, tariffs, and rate cases to assess legal risks and develop strategic responses.
/li liRepresent the client in meetings with regulators, stakeholders, and industry groups to advocate for favorable regulatory outcomes.
/li liMonitor legislative and regulatory developments affecting the energy sector and provide timely updates to leadership.
/li /ul h3Required Skills Qualifications:



/h3 ul liJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
/li liActive membership in the bar of any U.S. jurisdiction, with preference for energy regulatory experience.
/li liDemonstrated experience in energy law, including familiarity with FERC regulations and state utility law.
/li liStrong analytical and writing skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulatory frameworks.
/li liExperience handling regulatory filings, proceedings, or policy advocacy in the energy sector.
