Reporting to the Maitre, the ideal candidate will maintain positive guest and colleague interactions, building strong working relationships while ensuring excellent customer service. With a natural flair for lifestyle hospitality and strong communication skills, the Commis de Rang works closely with outlet's colleagues in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of our Guests.

Key Responsibilities

- Seats and serve food and beverages to guests according to established sequence and procedures. Helps on taking orders when required.

- Present menus, answer guest inquiries, and make recommendations regarding food, beverage, and service

- Clear and reset tables at the conclusion of each course

- Maintain high standards of hygiene, presentation, and service throughout operations

- Knows how to use the Micros system

- Demonstrate thorough knowledge and understanding of all food and beverage items on the menu, and the ability to recommend combinations and upsell alternatives when required

- Provide a welcoming and professional service to guests during breakfast, lunch, and dinner

- Support special events and high-volume service periods

- Ensure compliance with service and hygiene standards at all times

- Promote a guest-focused and service-driven culture within the outlet

Candidate Profile

-





- Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related hospitality environment

- High standards of personal presentation and grooming

- Strong knowledge of menu items and beverage offerings

- Ability to work effectively under pressure, maintaining composure and objectivity

- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented mindset

- Knowledge of the city of Rome and history

- Native or Fluent in Italian and English. Any additional language is a plus

- Flexible and supportive team player with a positive attitude

- Annual Salary (RAL) starting from level 5° CCNL Turismo Federalberghi contract + superminimo assorbibile adjusted to the experience of the candidate
