We operate in full compliance with global aviation recruitment regulations. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liTIG welding thin aerospace sheet metal. /li liWelding steel, stainless steel and aluminium alloys down to approximately 0.7 mm. /li liRepairing aircraft components, including: ul liEngine exhaust ducts /li liRear cuffs /li liAir intakes /li /ul /li liWorking in accordance with manufacturer repair schemes and approved aerospace procedures. /li liCarrying out welding work to the required aerospace quality standards. /li liEnsuring all work is completed in accordance with applicable technical documentation and procedures. /li liMaintaining a high standard of FOD awareness and workplace safety. /li liWorking in accordance with Italian safety and security requirements. /li /ul h3Candidate Requirements /h3 ul liProven experience as an Aircraft TIG Welder within the aerospace industry. /li liTIG welding experience on thin-gauge aerospace sheet metal.
/li liExperience welding steel, stainless steel and aluminium alloys down to approximately 0.7 mm. /li liExperience repairing aircraft components, including engine exhaust ducts, rear cuffs and air intakes. /li liCertification to PS-01-SBR, ISO 24394 or equivalent. /li liAbility to work to manufacturer repair schemes and approved aerospace procedures. /li liValid aerospace training/certification covering: ul liFOD /li liHF /li liSMS /li liMAL/NAM /li liEWIS /li liFTS /li liMMOE /li liMANMAN /li /ul /li liMust comply with Italian safety and security requirements. /li liOwn transport required for movement around the base. /li liRight to work in the EU. /li liPrevious experience working on military or commercial aircraft programmes. /li liExperience with aircraft structural and component repairs. /li liExperience working within an aircraft production or MRO environment. /li liAdditional aerospace welding qualifications and approvals. /li /ul h3Why Work with JMC Aviation? /h3 pAt JMC Aviation, we specialise in aviation recruitment across engineering services and training to airlines, MROs and OEMs, leasing and asset management companies, and component overhaul organisations.
