Within the C5ISR Engineering organizational unit of the Electronics Business area, we are looking for a Hardware Engineer for our Rome Tiburtina office. The person will mainly deal with the following activities: define, develop and analyze integration, system, and hardware architecture requirements and transfer the related information to interested stakeholders, particularly regarding the Hardware part. * Manage and analyze requirements documentation; * Track system hardware requirements; * Verify correct implementation in design; * Manage and draft test documentation; * Conduct architecture design and development of systems, subsystems, applications or platforms, with particular attention to hardware integration aspects; * Conduct surveillance activities during the construction of hardware equipment; * Carry out testing at suppliers; * Carry out testing with customers; * Verify installation on board the ship; * Troubleshoot hardware and integration issues on board the ship; * Use dedicated methodologies and tools. **Educational Qualifications:** * Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications or similar. **Seniority**: * Junior:
1-3 years of experience; Expert: 3-5 years of experience. **Technical knowledge and skills:** * Knowledge of naval CMS functionality; * Knowledge of hardware platforms in the naval CMS field; * Knowledge of hardware requirements in the naval CMS field; * Experience in drafting naval CMS documents; * Familiarity in producing documentation in English and Italian; * Knowledge of Hardware Engineering discipline in terms of design; * Drafting of Hardware requirements and traceability between different levels of specification; * Ability to draft detailed technical documentation; * Ability to execute and manage hardware tests; * Knowledge of networking principles. **Behavioral skills:** * Proactivity; * Ability to work in a team; * Problem-solving attitude; * Flexibility in dealing with topics outside one's domain of expertise. **Language skills:** * Good knowledge of the English language (B1-B2). **Computer skills:** * Basic knowledge of environments (i.e. operating systems, etc.) Linux, Windows, VMWare, etc.; * Familiarity with the use of the MS Office suite. **Other** The ideal candidate is available to work on site and to travel, after adequate on-the-job training, in Italy and/or abroad. *Involvement, enhancement of skills*, care for the *well-being* and *safety of people* are the cornerstones of our corporate culture.
