Overview In this role, you design the mechanical and electrical behavior of MEMS structures for customer requirements, focusing on gyroscope-related designs. You run model-based simulations to optimize MEMS performance and develop new algorithms to improve design optimization and simulation methods. You join a cross-functional engineering team, coordinating design and measurement activities while collaborating with PM and technology development to drive innovation at the Milan Design Center.

Responsabilità
- Design mechanical and electrical behavior of MEMS structures based on customer requirements
- Perform model-based simulations to optimize MEMS designs, with emphasis on gyroscopes
- Develop new algorithms for design optimization and enhance simulation methods
- Collaborate in a cross-functional engineering team and analyze cause-and-effect within designs
- Coordinate design and simulation tasks with project management and technology development
Requisiti fondamentali
- Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (or PhD)
- Fluent English (minimum B2); German is a plus
- Proficient coder; experience with MATLAB/Python and Finite Element tools; Simulink preferred
- Autonomous, self-organized work style in complex development environments
- Experience in MEMS design and model development for inertial MEMS sensors (FEM, Matlab) with 3–5 years
- Experience designing and conducting lab experiments; cross-functional teamwork
