AITOWN is looking for an intern/collaborator to join a European Research & Innovation project in digital construction and the built environment .

The opportunity is suitable for students, graduates and early-career researchers with a background in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, Construction, Architecture or related fields who are interested in how AI and digital technologies can transform construction, renovation and building operations .

The work will involve applied R&D; around Generative AI, BIM, Digital Twins and digital applications for construction , with opportunities to experiment with new ideas, rapid prototyping and AI-assisted development.

Waht we look for

- Final-year student, graduate, MSc or PhD in Civil, Building, Construction, Architecture or related fields
- Strong interest, preferably with some experience,



in GenAI and digital construction
- Some exposure to BIM, coding, data or digital tools
- Fluent English

What is noce to have
- Experience with Digital Twins, IoT, computational design or construction data
- Experience with prototypes, apps, automation or AI-assisted coding
- Relevant thesis, research or personal projects

The position starts as an internship/collaboration and may develop into a longer-term role depending on the evolution of the project and the candidate’s progress.
