Your impact

The Design Manager will lead the design and delivery of complex Data Center projects in Italy and internationally, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, fostering strong client relationships, and ensuring successful project outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

- Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee project delivery from concept and detailed design through procurement, construction support and commissioning.
- Ensure design deliverables meet client requirements, project schedules, quality standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for design-related matters with clients, stakeholders and project teams.
- Facilitate design reviews, technical coordination workshops and project reporting activities.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, providing practical and innovative technical solutions.
- Collaborate with local and international delivery teams to ensure effective project execution and compliance with local requirements.
- Support Project Managers and Project Directors in achieving successful project outcomes.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality,



collaboration and continuous improvement.

Here's what you'll need

- Degree in Engineering, Architecture or a related technical discipline.
- More than 5 years of experience in Design Management, Project Management or Engineering Management within engineering consultancy or construction environments.
- Experience delivering complex engineering projects, preferably Data Centers.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams and stakeholders across multiple locations.
- Understanding of design delivery across all project stages, from concept through commissioning.
- Strong planning, organizational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, teamwork and leadership abilities.

Other Requirements:

- Fluency in Italian and English.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- High level of Safety Awareness, construction methodologies, and regulations applicable in Italy.

Posted Salary Range: Minimum

55,600.00

Posted Salary Range: Upper

69,500.00

The offer range for this position is €55,600.00 to €69,500.00 gross per year (or hourly equivalent if hired into hourly role). The final salary within this range will be determined based on objective, gender neutral and job-related criteria, such as relevant professional experience, skills, qualifications, the scope of responsibilities and the contracted working hours/work schedule.
