And of course, we are always looking for talented people to help us have a positive impact on our industry and beyond!For our production plant in San Sisto (Perugia), we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Site Supply Chain Manager to join our team.The Site Supply Chain Manager represents supply chain in local plant management team and will put in place:Raw material call-offsProduction schedulingIn-plant logistics and inventory management/controllingTransport planning call-offThe core purpose of the role is to deliver the supply plan of the site and collaborate with site leadership to enable the execution of this supply plan. The role will integrate safety and environmental requirements into all activities.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPEResponsible for overall performance of the site supply chain processResponsible for a healthy and safe environment for stakeholders directly and indirectly involved in supply chain processes (and product movements)Owns the raw material and packaging replenishment process to the siteOwns the production scheduling activity of the site (adherence to schedule/plan KPI)Owns the relationship with Global planning regarding production planning parameters and output reviewsOwns the inventory management activity for raw material, packaging and finished product on siteOwns the warehousing and transport for flows to and from the site (may vary per local/regional SC context)Owns the on-site logistics activities & workforce (material handling, pallet movements, reception, (un)loading)Responsible for site supply chain costs, quality and service for this scopeResponsible for site supply chain productivity. Drives initiatives to achieve productivityResponsible for compliance of local supply chain process with regulations, customer requirement and group standardsDevelops and maintains relation with internal and external stakeholders involved in supply chainDrives initiatives to achieve quality and service improvementsCascades and monitors KPIs to deliver expected performance benefits. Main KPIs being Site OTIF, schedule adherence and inventory accuracy.Conducts and supports internal and external audits as requiredDevelops team and drives effective succession planning in line with organizational needsJOB PROFILEDevelops and employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, employee retention and development for high performanceAct as SPOC for global and regional supply chain functionsMaintain and own FTA related documentationEnsure safe, environmentally compliant day to day operations and ensure work is executed in line with safety and environmental legal and BC standards.Scope- raw material, packaging and finished goods handled/stored on site- logistics for inbound flows from supplier/regional DC to plant and outbound flows from plant to regional DC/customer (ownership of outbound logistics may vary per local/regional SC context)-Production schedule for (semi) finished goods produced on site, using planning tools where applicable-Physical stock count activity,
reconciliation activity and related actionsEDUCATION, LANGUAGE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSBachelor or master degree in business administration, economics or similarPreferably APIC CPIM certifiedProven experience in senior supply chain management roleStrong communication & presentation skillsAbility to lead and manage change in a complex environmentProficient in EnglishESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE & LEADERSHIP COMPETENCIESStrong understanding of plant related supply chain processExperience in supply chain (continuous) improvement processGood knowledge of Forecast to Stock and Order to Cash processExperience working with external logistic providersExcellent communication skillsGood analytical skillsAbility to bring people together, set a common agenda and manage interfaces between functionsAbility to drive change in a collaborative wayAbility to communicate adequately across the organization, from shop floor to senior stakeholdersGood analytical skillsWHAT WE OFFERA challenging role within a dynamic and international manufacturing environment.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Tempo pieno permanent ContractHybrid Work LocationSalary Pay Range: 53K-63K Euro per yearAt Barry Callebaut, we are committed to Diversity & Inclusion.
