IL TUO RUOLO Are you passionate about embedded systems and real-time technologies?
As an Embedded Firmware Engineer at Capgemini Engineering, you will have the opportunity to design and develop firmware and embedded applications for innovative products, contributing to the creation of high-performance systems used in technologically advanced contexts.
In this role, you will be a key element in the following activities: Firmware development in C/C++ for microcontrollers and embedded systems.
Design and implementation of software on Bare Metal architectures.
Development and maintenance of RTOS-based applications.
Development of drivers, HAL, and low-level software components.
Debugging, troubleshooting, and performance analysis activities.
Hardware-software integration and functional validation.
Support for software testing and verification activities.
Preparation of technical project documentation.
LE TUE CARATTERISTICHE Excellent knowledge of C/C++.
Experience in firmware development on microcontrollers.
Knowledge of Bare Metal architectures.
Experience with Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
Knowledge of main embedded communication protocols.
Experience in debugging and software validation activities.
Knowledge of Git and versioning tools.
Experience in hardware-software integration.
Language skills: good knowledge of English.
Nice to have: Experience with STM32.




Knowledge of FreeRTOS and Zephyr OS.
Experience in Secure Boot and Bootloader development, OTA/FOTA firmware updates.
Experience with Continuous Integration systems.
Knowledge of hardware debugging tools.
Implementation on LED matrix displays and UI.
Note: a degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation, or equivalent disciplines is required.
