Together! /p h3ROLE /h3 pThe Coastal Resilience Policy Specialist reports to the ATEC Director. /p h3RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 ul liContribute to the design, organization and implementation of training programmes on the use of integrated coastal and marine monitoring systems for informed disaster risk management and decision-making towards coastal resilience. /li liSupport the design and implementation of targeted activities to engage public stakeholders (national and local public authorities, disaster risk and rescue management authorities, environmental agencies), including organizing workshops, conferences, and policy dialogues to facilitate knowledge exchange and promote collaboration among diverse stakeholders. /li liSupport the collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and external partners to design and implement EU-funded projects aimed at advancing coastal resilience and promoting sustainable development. /li liAssist in the development and implementation of policy recommendations, leveraging research findings and stakeholder inputs to inform evidence-based decision-making on coastal resilience. /li liPrepare reports, briefings, and presentations to communicate research findings, policy analyses, and recommendations to policymakers, practitioners, and other stakeholders. /li /ul h3REQUIREMENTS /h3 ul liMaster in the field of economics, political science, public policies, and environmental studies. /li liAt least 2 years of work experience. /li liProven track record in designing and implementing capacity enhancement programmes for public authorities on climate change adaptation, coastal resilience and sustainability. /li liFamiliarity with EU and Italian policies, institutions,
and decision-making processes related to environmental sustainability and climate change, including experience working on EU and national funded projects. /li liStrong interest and knowledge of environmental economics, coastal resilience, and coastal governance issues, with a demonstrated commitment to promoting sustainability and resilience. /li liHigh motivation to work in a multicultural and high-pace environment /li liProactive Team worker and excellent communication skills in Italian and English. /li /ul h3Nice to have /h3 ul liGood research and analytical skills, with good knowledge of qualitative and quantitative methods /li liInitial experience in European and national research projects /li /ul h3DURATION, COMPENSATION BENEFITS /h3 ul liPlease note that this opportunity will be issued both internally and externally. /li liThe Managers will be based in Milan CMCC office. /li liThe contract offered for this position will be a Coordinated and Continuous Collaboration contract, starting from 2026, November and lasting for 12 months; /li liThe gross annual salary range for this position is 30,000.00 - 40,000.00 Euros. The salary offered within the range will be determined based on years of relevant experience, level of seniority, specific technical skills, applying objective and gender-neutral criteria. /li liWelfare package of 2,000 Euro per year. /li liFlexible working time as per internal policies. /li liSupport during the immigration process, if needed. /li /ul h3PROTECTED CATEGORY /h3 pBelonging to legally protected categories (ex L. 68/99) will constitute a preferential condition. /p pSome fiscal benefits could be applied for repatriated workers or foreign researchers/professors, having the requirements defined by Dlgs 147/2015 (for repatriates) or Dl 78/2010 (for foreigners). /p pCMCC is an equal-opportunity employer.
