Our mission is to transform bold scientific ideas into advances that improve human health. /p pWithin this mission, the bHealth Data Science Centre /b (HDSC)at HT has been planned in partnership with Politecnico di Milano and is developing several lines of research, with the aim to help deliver a step-change in health data science in Italy. The Centre’s mission is to systematically generate, mobilise, and harvest “big data” allowing agnostic and dynamic collection of information, to deliver a new class of research that will enable a better understanding of the clinical, molecular, behavioural and environmental determinants of non-communicable diseases, for both patients and public agevolazioni. /p pWe are seeking a motivated bScientific Project Manager /b to support the activities in the HDS Centre. In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of the HORIZON EU-funded bPRE-CVD project /b, working closely with the Project’s Scientific Coordinator (Dr. Zuccolo). /p pbYour missionbr/ /bAs Scientific Project Manager you will act as the operational lead of the European project PRE-CVD, working closely with the Scientific Coordinator, who retains the scientific direction of the project and final decision-making authority. You will take ownership of the day-to-day management of the project, ensuring its delivery in line with the scientific objectives, the approved work plan and the obligations of the Grant Agreement and the Consortium Agreement, allowing the Scientific Coordinator to focus on scientific leadership and research activities. You will steer the progress of work packages, budget and risks across the consortium, lead the periodic scientific and financial reporting to the European Commission, organise periodic consortium meetings and oversee project communication and dissemination. You are the central operational point of reference for consortium partners, HT internal offices and external stakeholders. /p pbGrow your skills /bbr/You will enhance your scientific and professional skills by: /p ul libManaging project implementation and scientific delivery: /b Translate scientific objectives into operational plans; coordinate work packages, tasks,
milestones and deliverables; monitor progress, timelines and partner contributions; identify risks and deviations; and drive corrective actions with the Scientific Coordinator and consortium. /li libManaging governance and collaboration: /b Organise consortium meetings and governance bodies, including agendas, minutes and follow-up; maintain an overview of project activities and status; and support effective collaboration between researchers, consortium partners and internal operational offices. /li libLeading administrative, financial and contractual management: /b Oversee project administration and consortium-level budget and expenditure; ensure compliance with the Grant Agreement, Consortium Agreement, EU funding rules and institutional policies; coordinate amendments; and maintain complete documentation for reviews and audits. /li libCoordinating reporting and deliverables: /b Lead the preparation, consolidation and timely submission of periodic scientific and financial reports, deliverables and activity reports, working closely with consortium partners and internal offices and contributing directly to their drafting. /li libActing as the project’s operational interface: /b Serve as the operational point of contact for the European Commission Project Officer, consortium partners and relevant external stakeholders on administrative and contractual matters, in agreement with the Scientific Coordinator; facilitate efficient workflows between researchers and administrative offices. /li libLeading communication, dissemination and stakeholder engagement: /b Coordinate the project’s communication, dissemination and stakeholder‑engagement activities, overseeing events, news and press releases, website content, newsletters and social media. /li libEnsuring effective information management: /b Maintain accurate project records, documentation and archives, and ensure that relevant project information is properly shared and accessible across the project team and consortium. /li /ul pbHuman Technopole supports career development through training, mentoring and dedicated learning opportunities.
/b /p pbWhat you'll bring /b /p ul liMaster's degree, preferably in health sciences (clinical, biomedical, or population health/epidemiology) or related fields, or relevant experience is required. /li liAt least 3/5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a research environment. /li liDemonstrated experience in the management of EU-funded collaborative projects (e.g., Horizon Europe), preferably in a coordination role, including periodic scientific and financial reporting. /li liFamiliarity with EU funding rules and with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards in scientific research initiatives. /li liKnowledge of EU grant management, Grant Agreement obligations and financial reporting processes. /li liFluency in English. /li /ul pPreferred /p ul liPhD in a related discipline /li liCertifications in project management (e.g., PM², PMP, PRINCE2) /li /ul pOrganizational and social skills /p ul liStrong organizational, operational planning and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities and deliverables while meeting deadlines. /li liAutonomy and reliability, with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to act as a trusted point of reference for the Scientific Coordinator. /li liExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and coordinate across a diverse consortium. /li liStrong teamwork and adaptability, with the ability to collaborate across teams and respond effectively to changing priorities. /li liExperience in communication and dissemination activities, including events, websites, newsletters and social media, is considered an advantage. /li /ul pbAt HT, your discoveries contribute to a global effort to improve human health. /b /p pbWhy Human Technopolebr/ /bHT offers an international and dynamic workplace, competitive welfare provisions, flexible working policies and relocation support.
