The role supports new construction, renovation, modernization, and maintenance projects from programming and concept development through construction completion. This is a full-time, primarily on-site position located in Naples, Italy.Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesDevelop architectural and interior plans, specifications, programming studies, space plans, concepts, and code compliance analysesSupport housing, community, medical, educational, maintenance, industrial, hangar, administrative, and command-and-control facilitiesPrepare and review design submittals at conceptual, 35%, 50%, prefinal, and final stagesApply DoD and Navy criteria, Unified Facilities Criteria, Unified Facilities Guide Specifications, the International Building Code, NFPA 101, sustainability requirements, accessibility criteria, and host-nation regulationsCoordinate with civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, environmental, security, utility, real estate, and cost disciplinesConduct field investigations and participate in design reviews and coordination meetingsReview shop drawings, submittals, requests for information, design clarifications, changes, claims, and post-award construction issuesDevelop or review scopes of work, cost estimates, technical reports, schedules, presentations, and project recordsCoordinate with host-nation authorities, designers, installation stakeholders,
