With more than 5.200 stores in 10 countries and more than 370.000 associates. In Italy, TJX doesn’t have stores, but a Global Buying Office with more than 160 associates in 4 different offices (2 in Florence and 2 in Milan). /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liInteracts with vendors and agents on behalf of the TJX Companies Inc. various divisions on logistics policies and procedures. /li liConstant communication with the vendor community and with the buying and sourcing teams to ensure compliance to all details related to the direct importation of merchandise into U.S. and Canadian markets. /li liThorough understanding of TJX’s direct import protocols to be able to guide new and existing suppliers through the details of getting goods exported to the retail market on time. /li liProvides constructive counseling to agents/vendors to correct non-compliant execution of TJX logistics standards.
