Support customers in upgrading to SSAB Special Steels by providing technical expertise in design, production processes, quality improvements, application development and problem-solving, including customer complaints and technical issues.
Drive sales and business development by identifying growth opportunities, developing value-based customer solutions and supporting the achievement of yearly sales and marketing targets.
Develop and implement the Sales Area strategy together with the Area Sales Manager, ensuring that technical development activities align with strategic priorities, customer needs and market potential.
Support and develop Regional Sales Managers through technical training, daily guidance and the development of product and segment expertise.
Plan, document and report technical activities using Salesforce CRM.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Technical Support, Knowledge Service Centre, Supply Chain and other key stakeholders.
University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering,
Mining Engineering or a related technical field.
Minimum five years of technical experience within the steel industry or a related industrial sector where steel plays an important role.
Strong technical background combined with business understanding and strategic thinking.
Understanding of application development, production processes and value-added sales.
Experience working with complex sales processes and technical customer development.
Ability to work effectively in multicultural environments and adapt communication to different audiences and cultures.
Proactive, driven and customer-focused with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Fluent in Italian, German and English.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the sales area.
