This role is offered on an Italian employment contract. Candidates must be based in Italy as we are unable to support remote working from outside the country due to local employment and tax legislation.
Position
This role sits within Deltatre’s Digital Streaming Unit, where the PMO team keeps demand, resourcing, and financial reporting accurate across a fast-moving, agile delivery environment. You will support one or more allocated work areas under the guidance of the PMO Manager and Senior PMO Specialists.
As PMO Specialist, you will bring around 2-3 years of PMO or coordination experience and a proven track record of accuracy and consistency in everything you produce. You’ll build your ability to bring teams together and communicate confidently, developing towards greater ownership of your own area over time.
Responsibilities
PMO support and escalation
- Support the PMO Manager and Senior PMO Specialists on your allocated area(s), keeping them regularly informed and escalating challenges or priority conflicts in good time
- Help identify and flag emerging issues early, capturing the evidence and detail Senior Management would need to make an informed decision
- Act as a clear and reliable point of contact between departments for your PMO area, ensuring information is passed on accurately and on time
Data, reporting, and analysis
- Manage Core Systems data: pull reports, check the data for accuracy and consistency, request inputs from teams to validate records, and update the Core Systems directly
- Pull data from source systems into the Trackers and Reports in Excel, covering financial, resource consumption, and demand data, for validation by the Senior PMO before circulation
- Help interpret data and contribute to summary analysis for stakeholders
- Chase the accuracy of timesheets and consumption data monthly to ensure accurate reporting and billing
- Check your own data, documents, and reports thoroughly before they are shared onward, and query anything that doesn’t look right rather than passing it on unchecked
Demand and resource management
- Support the Senior PMOs in updating shared Team Plans in the relevant systems
- Work with teams to gather the information you need to report accurately, and follow up diligently
Stakeholder communication and documentation
- Present clear, accurate updates to stakeholders across the Unit, and support senior colleagues in preparing information for Senior Management
- Support the coordination of meetings and conference calls, producing detailed, accurate minutes and tracking actions through to completion
- Keep PMO wiki pages on SharePoint up to date and accurate, flagging where they need refreshing or improving
- Draw up process flow diagrams in PowerPoint, talking to people to understand how a process actually works, then designing and documenting the flow
Requirements
This is the experience that will help you hit the ground running.
Required
- Around 2-3 years’ PMO or coordination experience, ideally within a technology, agile, or media environment
- A good working understanding of demand planning, resourcing, and finance matters within a PMO’s remit, with a willingness to build this further
- A track record of accurate, well-checked work, with evidence of checking your own output as a matter of habit, even under time pressure
- Clear and concise communication with stakeholders, especially during challenging periods
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel: able to produce, analyse, and quality-check data before summarising it in a report
- Working knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft PowerPoint, including for drawing up process flow diagrams
- Reliable management of your own workload and schedule, staying calm and accurate under deadline pressure
- Degree level education or equivalent
Valued
- Jira experience (highly desirable)
- NetSuite experience
- Power BI experience
- A formal Agile qualification
- Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot to support drafting, analysis, and reporting tasks
Who Thrives Here
This role sits at the point where numbers become decisions - the figures you pull, check, and pass on are what Senior Management relies on, so accuracy is the job rather than a nice-to-have. It suits someone who checks their own work before anyone else has to, and who asks the awkward question when a number doesn’t add up instead of forwarding it unchecked.
People who do well here spot trends and flag issues early with the evidence attached, manage their own workload reliably when deadlines stack up, and grow steadily into influencing and supporting others, with a view to moving into a more senior PMO position.
Process and what to expect
Salary starts from €40,000 at entry level rising to €50,000 for those with significant relevant experience. Where you land depends on the experience and expertise you bring. If your expectations sit outside the range, tell us anyway - we’re happy to have an open conversation. Internal progression is assessed through a structured process combining a technical assessment and a competency-based interview. The role falls under CCNL Commercio | D.Lgs. 96⁄2026 .

- Introductory conversation: a step for us to get to know each other better, and for us to answer all questions you might have around Deltatre.

If any of these formats would be difficult for you, tell us - we adjust regularly and can usually accommodate.
