The successful candidate will be assigned to the operational unit responsible for the assembly, installation, and maintenance of mechanical components and equipment as part of major industrial projects in the nuclear sector.
The candidate will be responsible for alignment and leveling, controlled tightening, dimensional checks, the use of measuring instruments, and the identification of any mechanical anomalies, working in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, procedures, and work instructions.
The candidate must ensure strict compliance with procedures, quality requirements, and the traceability of activities and components. Attention to the proper management of work documentation, the inspection of tools and materials, and the prevention of FME (Foreign Material Exclusion) risks will also be required.
The candidate will collaborate with the site manager and other site personnel, participating in operational and safety briefings and promptly reporting any anomalies, deviations, non-conformities, or unforeseen conditions.
Requirements
- Technical training, preferably a vocational certificate or diploma in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, industrial engineering, or maintenance;
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly and/or maintenance, preferably gained in the industrial, energy, or nuclear sectors;
- Good ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, technical diagrams, procedures, and work instructions;
- Knowledge of techniques for mounting, disassembly, assembly, alignment, and tightening of mechanical components;
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and work equipment;
- Knowledge of procedures applicable to nuclear environments and the principles of FME (Foreign Material Exclusion) is preferred;
- Precision, a sense of responsibility, and attention to detail;
- Good ability to work in a team and collaborate with the site manager and other site functions;
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of safety and quality;
- Willingness to work at construction sites in France.
