h3About the Role /h3 pJMC Aviation is recruiting experienced Aircraft Painters to support aircraft painting, coating and sealing activities in Sigonella, Italy.
/p pThis opportunity requires candidates with strong hands-on aircraft painting and surface finishing experience, with the ability to work on both metal and composite aircraft components.
/p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liCarry out surface preparation and finishing of metal and composite aircraft parts /li liApply conversion coatings, primers and exterior finish paints to aluminium aircraft components /li liCarry out aircraft paint and coating applications in accordance with relevant specifications /li liMeasure and control paint/coating thickness /li liCarry out preparation activities including masking and surface preparation /li liCarry out sealant applications where required /li liComplete paint and coating work on removed aircraft components /li liCarry out localised paint repairs and finishing directly on the aircraft /li liWork safely at height and use PLE/platform lifts where required /li liEnsure all work is completed in accordance with technical documentation, quality procedures and aerospace standards /li /ul h3Candidate Requirements /h3 ul liCertified to both PS-02-ARP and PS-07-ARP for paint/coatings and sealants /li liPrevious hands-on aircraft painting and surface finishing experience /li liExperience working with metal and composite aircraft components /li liExperience applying conversion coatings,



primers and exterior finish paints /li liExperience working with aluminium aircraft structures/components /li liAbility to measure and control paint thickness /li liTrained and competent to work at height and/or use PLE/platform lifts /li liMandatory courses, kept current: FOD, HF, SMS, MAL/NAM, EWIS, FTS, MMOE and MANMAN.
