About the Role

We are seeking an energetic, dedicated Kindergarten English Homeroom Teacher to guide young learners within an immersive English environment, sparking curiosity and supporting whole-child development through joyful inquiry.

Key Responsibilities

- Curriculum: Design and deliver inquiry-based unit plans aligned with the IB PYP framework, maintaining consistent classroom routines and documentation.
- Collaboration: Engage in collaborative planning with grade-level teams and our multinational faculty.
- Assessment: Conduct regular formative and summative learning assessments in accordance with school policies.
- Environment: Maintain a safe, inspiring early years space, strictly upholding child safeguarding protocols.
- Family Partnership: Maintain transparent, constructive daily communication with families regarding student growth.

Collaborate closely with Chinese lead teachers, building mutual trust and shared classroom responsibilities.

Requirements

- Education: Bachelor degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, English, Applied Linguistics, or a related field.
- Credentials: Recognized teaching qualification including TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or PGCE with a minimum of 120 hours.
- Experience: Minimum two years of full-time early childhood teaching experience. Prior IB PYP classroom experience is highly valued.
- Legal Eligibility: Native English fluency with passport eligibility for a legal China Work Permit and Z-visa.
- Mindset: Cross-cultural adaptability, patience, collaborative spirit, and dedication to early childhood inquiry.
