About the Role
We are looking for a Automotive Cybersecurity Specialist to strengthen our cybersecurity team with a focus on automotive cybersecurity standards and regulations, while keeping a holistic view on automotive cybersecurity across the full vehicle lifecycle. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy hands-on technical work, but can also adapt to different project contexts, customers and system scopes, remaining within a coherent cybersecurity technical domain.
Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, identify threat vectors, conduct Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA)
- Design continuous monitoring solutions for real-time detection and response to cyber threats
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into the design and development processes
- Conduct security gap informing stakeholders of the existing gap, proposing actions and solutions to close the gap, following the execution of the action plan
- Desing technical solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities from hardware, firmware, and software cyberattacks
- Stay current with cybersecurity regulations,
ensuring compliance and adherence to industry best practices
- Stay at the forefront of cybersecurity advancements in the automotive sector
- Promote a cybersecurity-aware culture through guidance and training to internal teams
- Define cybersecurity policies and incident response process to addressing cybersecurity incidents
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Mechatronics, Vehicle Engineering or a related field
Required Skills
- Expertise in vulnerability assessments and securing vehicle embedded systems
- Hands-on experience in incident response and security gap analysis
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity regulations (e.g. R155) and standards for automotive systems (e.g. ISO 21434)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for effective cross-functional teamwork
- Strong understanding of integrating security requirements into the development life cycle
- Strong understanding of automotive technologies, including embedded systems, communication protocols, and software architecture
- Familiarity with certification processes & effective engagement with certification authorities
- Capability to provide guidance and training on security-related topics
- Fluent English
What we offer
- Permanent tempo pieno employment contract
- Indicative gross annual salary (RAL): €35.000 - €40.000, depending on experience and the level of autonomy achieved in the role
