Schedule Details/Additional Information: Monday thru Friday 8am -5pm
Pay Range: $19.80 - $29.70
The Phlebotomist receives orders for laboratory testing, collects blood from patients of any age or status and issues appropriate paperwork to the Advocate laboratory or outside for processing. He/she maintains the laboratory in an efficient working state and performs lab procedures while ensuring quality control.
The qualified candidate will possess the following:
A. Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a formal training program in Phlebotomy
- Completion of departmental clinical evaluation checklist

B. Licensure or Certification
- PBT (ASCP) or equivalent national certification required

C. Experience
- At least one year experience in a lab or physician's office required
