Job Description

The Contractor will provide services relatedto the following activities, using an agile (see paragraph 4) and iterativeapproach using multiple sprints, with each sprint planned for a duration of 30days

- Support activities:

- Supporting the delivery of 3rd leveltechnical support for IT and Data Management Services in DCIS and assuringavailability of assigned services is in line with Target of table 3.2.

- Supporting the performs fault diagnosisusing the IT and Data Management Services Management System

- Supporting to Supervise and carry outroutine maintenance of IT and Data Management

- Services infrastructure, managementappliances and other NATO IT and Data

- Supporting the completion of any changes tothe system documentation

- Supporting the completion of backups andrestores of IT and Data Management Services devices

- Supporting the performs remote faultdiagnosis on IT and Data Management Services as required

- Supporting the collaboration with thestakeholders, both internal and externals, as necessary, to coordinate effortsand ensure smooth execution of software support and development activities





- Supporting the execution of the processes ofIncident Management, Change Management and Release Management, as required,following the NCIA procedures and execute incident intervention/resolutionwithin expected KPI`s.

Requirements

- The consultancy support for this workrequires the following qualifications:

- Technical Qualifications

- At least 8 years’ progressive experience incomplex network engineering roles:

- Design, implementation and support scalableenterprise network infrastructures leveraging BGP, MPLS, IPv6, OSPF, IS-IS.

- Active CCNP certification is required.

- Active CCIE (R&S;, EnterpriseInfrastructure or Service Provider) certification is desirable.

- Deep knowledge of BGP, including routereflectors, confederations, communities, path manipulation, and filtering(iBGP, eBGP, policy control).

- Proficient in QoS design, shaping, policing,and classification techniques for converged networks. Extensive experience infine-tuning QoS policies to support mission-critical applications and voiceservices. Knowledge of QoS configuration and traffic classification models(CBWFQ, LLQ and WRED).

- Proven expertise in IPv6 implementation,troubleshooting and dual-stack environments with a strong focus on IPv6adoption and transition strategies.

- Deep knowledge and experience with:policy-based routing, route aggregation and summarization, redistribution, VRF,MPLS traffic engineering.

- In-depth knowledge of multicast protocols(PIM sparse/dense mode, IGMP, MSDP, Anycast RP) and their use in real-worlddeployments. Configuration and troubleshooting of multicast protocols.

- Proficient in datacenter and switchingtechnologies (STP, MSTP, RapidPVST,

- EtherChannel, LACP, Virtual Stack,StackWise, Cisco Nexus NX-OS, Spine-Leaf

- Strong troubleshooting skills with toolslike Wireshark, NetFlow and SNMP. Knowledge of network monitoring concepts.

- Hands-on experience with SD-WANtechnologies.

- Familiarity with DevNet,



API integrations,and network programmability.

- Knowledge of network security best practices(ACLs, firewalls, VPNs, IPSec, AAA, Role Based Access Control, Public KeyInfrastructure, security-hardening concepts).

- Proficient in network automation andscripting (Python, Ansible, Terraform).

- Preferred Skills:

- Integration and support voice over IP (VoIP)solutions, including SIP trunking, call routing and voice gatewayconfigurations.

- Experience in cloud networking

- Knowledge of Segment Routing (SR, SRv6)

- Knowledge and understanding of the latestsoftware defined (SDN) networking technologies: VMWare NSX, Cisco ACI

- Configuration management practices and tools

- Knowledge of ITIL IT service managementmodel

- Experience and applied knowledge of ServiceTransition

- Proven ability to communicate effectivelyorally and in writing with good briefing skills

- Strong and open communication skills

- Entrepreneur and strong networking skills

- Autonomous, problem-solver and drivestowards results

- Professional Qualifications

- Must have excellent spoken and writtenEnglish communication and presentation skills, as demonstrated by recentexperience (within the past 5 years)

- Must demonstrate the ability andself-motivation to work on his/her own but must also work well within groups aspart of a team

- Must demonstrate an ability and keen sensefor problem-solving

- Knowledge of NATO responsibilities andorganization.

- Recent Microsoft Windows Server or RedhatLinux Operating Systems

- Expert Directory, Identity and AccessManagement consisting of multiple interconnected and federated Active DirectoryDomains and Forests
