Role Description This full-time Bartender role at Della Calza SPA & Foresteria is an on-site position based in Florence. The Bartender will prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to safety and hygiene standards. Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, recommending drinks, and providing attentive service throughout their visit. The role involves setting up and closing the bar, stocking and rotating inventory, handling cash and payment transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean, organized bar area. The Bartender will collaborate with the food & beverage team, support special events, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere aligned with the venue’s hospitality standards.
Qualifications
• Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to engage guests and manage busy service periods professionally.
• Proficiency in Bartending and Food & Beverage service,



including knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, beer, and basic bar snacks.
• Reliable Cash Handling skills with attention to detail in processing payments, managing tabs, and reconciling daily transactions.
• Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality environment, ideally in a similar on-site role.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and stocking supplies.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
• Basic proficiency in English and Italian, or willingness to improve language skills; additional languages are an advantage.
