Mission
Within the Environmental and Engineering Geoscience Division, we are looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer - Categorie Protette 68/99 to join our team based in Genoa. The role focuses on the geotechnical analysis and design of complex infrastructure projects, including soil and rock behaviour assessment, foundation design, numerical modelling, and coordination with multidisciplinary and BIM teams. We are selecting a highly motivated engineer, registered as a protected category under Italian Law 68/99 , who would like to join a dynamic team based in Genoa,



willing to develop technical, managerial and soft skills competencies. Key Accountabilities
- Lead the development of geotechnical engineering designs from concept and feasibility studies through detailed design and construction support for complex infrastructure projects.
- Perform and review geotechnical analyses and calculations for shallow and deep foundations, retaining structures, excavations, embankments, slopes, tunnels and soil-structure interaction problems.
- Develop, calibrate and interpret advanced numerical models using finite element and finite difference methods for static, dynamic and staged-construction analyses.
- Prepare and review Geotechnical Design Reports, design criteria, calculation notes, technical specifications, drawings and other engineering deliverables.
- Define geotechnical ground models and design parameters based on site investigation data, laboratory testing results and engineering
