ICON seeks a field-based Clinical Trial Liaison in Milan to support European clinical trials by engaging study sites, providing clinical training, and optimizing patient enrollment strategies. The role combines scientific guidance with stakeholder relationship-building across multiple trial sites.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain relationships with investigators, site staff, and stakeholders to support trial delivery
Deliver scientific and clinical training to study teams on protocol requirements and trial design
Develop and refine enrollment strategies at site and study levels to improve recruitment outcomes
Represent studies at site visits, meetings, industry events, and conferences




Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and drive process improvements
Requirements
Doctoral degree (MD, PharmD, or PhD)
Clinical research experience in pharma, biotech, or CRO settings
Strong scientific and medical knowledge of clinical development
Established European scientific and clinical network
Fluent English and Italian medical language; additional EU languages preferred
Ability to interpret complex medical data and ensure protocol compliance
Proactive, self-motivated problem-solver with analytical thinking
Compensation:
€54,496–€68,120 base salary
