The Senior Manager for Risk and Compliance has the primary responsibility of acting as the official within Aon Insurance Managers Italy (AIM Italy) to ensure that AIM Italy and (re)insurance undertakings under management comply with all the laws under which they operate as well as ensuring that Risk Management is conducted in a structured, systematic, and continuous manner.Aon is in the business of better decisionsAt Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive, diverse team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.What the day will look likeHolding the role of Risk and Compliance Manager within AIM ItalyActing as Risk and Compliance Manager for clients under management or supporting the relevant clients' Function HoldersEnsuring compliance with Insurance Legislation and Regulations and any other regulatory standards issued by IVASS applicable to AIM Italy and clients under managementUsing initiative, knowledge, and collaboration with the client teams to advise & support on a wide range of Compliance and regulatory mattersReporting to the Board of AIM Italy and clients under management on all compliance and regulatory matters as requiredLiaising with IVASS on regulatory mattersDrawing up and implementing compliance plans to ensure corporate compliance with all applicable regulationsOversee the preparation of quarterly and annual regulatory reporting submissionsLiaising with global clients and other service providers including actuaries,



internal and external auditors, and risk consultantsReviewing procedures and systems on a planned basis from the viewpoint of effective compliance and advising as to steps necessary to ensure complianceCoordinating the development and ongoing maintenance of risk policies and proceduresMonitoring and maintaining the system of governance and internal controlsDeveloping risk management strategiesActing as or supporting clients' Money Laundering Reporting Officers as required and ensuring staff are trained on and informed of all anti-money laundering regulations and proceduresReviewing staff training processes to ensure appropriate compliance competenciesConducting compliance risk assessment training workshopsAdvising internal management and clients on the implementation of compliance programsFollowing up on compliance issues that require investigation.Skills and experience that will lead to successBe professionally qualified in Accountancy, Law, or Insurance – essentialHave a proven understanding of EU and Italian legislation, and the regulatory environment which governs our clients – essentialStrong understanding of the Solvency II regime – essentialProven managerial experience ideally, with a compliance, finance, or insurance background.Have completed Compliance Training and other relevant training courses.Have been approved for a similar role by IVASS or have held a similar position in a regulated entity.A self-starter, with strong interpersonal skills, a strong team ethic,
