**Job Description:**

Within the Radar SW Engineering organizational unit of the Electronics Division, we are looking for **Radar Software Engineer** figures for our offices in Rome Tiburtina and Naples Fusaro.

The person will mainly deal with the following activities:

- Analysis, design, development and testing in the field of Radar applications
- Definition of the software architecture for complex systems;
- Development and integration of the software components of a Radar system;
- Software life cycle management
- Graphic programming and interfaces
- Documentation production
- Maintenance and support during the integration and system validation phases

**Educational qualifications:**

- Three-year and/or master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science

**Seniority**

- Junior, Expert

**Technical knowledge and skills**

- Experience in system-on-chip (SoC) programming
- Knowledge of the main programming languages such as C/C++, VHDL, Verilog, System Verilog, HLS, Matlab




- Knowledge of simulation and testing tools
- Knowledge and use of Linux operating systems
- Experience in creating Device Drivers on Linux operating system
- Desirable knowledge of Radar theory and technique
- Knowledge of Java
- GUI developer
- Computer networks

- Adaptability and flexibility.

**Linguistic knowledge:**

- Good knowledge of the English language (B2)

**IT skills:**

- Use of the Office package;
- Software/firmware development environments (Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, Vitis, Vivado);
- Linux Shell Scripting;
- Tools for requirements management
- Knowledge of the Java programming language;
- Knowledge of the C/C++ programming language

**Other:**

The ideal candidate is available to carry out work mainly at the office and to undertake short/medium-term business trips, after adequate on-the-job training, in Italy and/or abroad.

**How does the selection process work?**

Following the collection of applications, the CVs most in line with the required requirements are evaluated and identified.

Selected candidates undergo an introductory interview with the Human Resources team, motivational and aptitude, followed by an in-depth technical interview with the Business.

At the end of the process, feedback is provided to the person, both in case of a positive and negative outcome.
