You’ll anchor the software stack for the strong2028 in-orbit demonstration /strong funded by the EIC Accelerator, spanning embedded control, APIs, and mission TM/TC. You’ll work in the Space Division in Pisa with hardware at hand, shaping interfaces that let mechatronics and flight systems perform as one /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliDefine and own the strongrobot API architecture /strong for the payload, enabling reliable command, telemetry, and cross-team integration /liliDesign and implement strongflight and platform software /strong for the IOD mission, from control and monitoring to data handling /liliLead strongspacecraft integration /strong, aligning with ECSS and mission requirements, and managing ground to space TM/TC links /liliImplement strongsimulation and HIL testing /strong, automate verification, and iterate from lab prototypes to flight models /liliCollaborate in strongsystem engineering and mission planning /strong, translating requirements into software and test plans /liliDrive strongsoftware reliability and performance /strong through code reviews, CI, and fault management strategies /li /ulh3What You Bring /h3pstrongTechnical Toolkit /strong /pulliC, C++, RTOS, embedded Linux, CMake, Git /liliECSS software standards, TM/TC concepts, FDIR, timing and determinism /liliInterfaces and buses: USART, SPI, I2C, CAN, strongSpaceWire /strong, strongMIL-STD-1553 /strong /liliSpace and network protocols: CCSDS, PUS, TCP,
