pExtreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) is looking for a hands-on Hardware Debug Engineer to diagnose, troubleshoot, and recover rugged embedded computing hardware. This role supports Production by investigating failures on complex single board computers and system assemblies, often requiring troubleshooting down to the component level. /p pThe Hardware Debug Engineer will use electrical test equipment, product schematics, assembly documentation, software tools, and structured troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes of hardware failures. This position works closely with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, and Design Engineering to resolve individual failures and identify opportunities to improve product quality, manufacturing processes, and product designs. /p h3Duties And Responsibilities /h3 ul liDiagnose and troubleshoot complex electronic assemblies and single board computers down to the component level. /li liPerform hand-on electrical and functional testing using laboratory test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers. /li liRead and interpret electrical schematics, assembly documentation, and test procedures to support troubleshooting. /li liDocument troubleshooting activities, findings, and corrective actions. /li liAnalyze failure data to identify recurring or systemic issues and provide recommendations for Production, Manufacturing Engineering, and Design Engineering. /li liDevelop and improve troubleshooting methods, test procedures, and diagnostic tools. /li /ul h3Required Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a required degree. /li liStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in hand-on hardware troubleshooting.
