Role Description This full-time Dotnet Developer role at AITAS S.r.l. is a hybrid position based in Italy, combining on-site collaboration with flexible work-from-home days. The Dotnet Developer will design, develop, and maintain software applications using .NET technologies, ensuring clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Day-to-day activities include implementing new features, fixing bugs, and optimizing existing solutions, as well as participating in code reviews and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as QA and product management. The role also involves translating business requirements into technical specifications, integrating third-party services and APIs, and contributing to continuous improvement of development processes and tools. The Dotnet Developer will be expected to follow best practices in software engineering, adhere to project timelines, and support deployment and post-release monitoring.
Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and general Programming principles, with the ability to write modular, reusable, and testable code.
• Hands-on experience in Software Development using .NET Core, including building and maintaining scalable, secure, and performant applications.
• Proficiency in ASP.NET MVC for developing web applications, RESTful services, and user-facing features aligned with business needs.
• Experience with source control tools (e.g., Git), unit testing frameworks, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) and basic query optimization, as well as integration with ORM frameworks.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Italy, collaborating effectively with distributed teams, and communicating clearly in English; Italian language skills are an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
