Join Kroll’s Global Trade and Customs Team and gain hands-on experience in the dynamic field of Transfer Pricing, Trade and Customs. We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to contribute as new joiners in our Trade and Customs Group.

The Trade and Customs Intern will contribute to a broad range of assignments, including conducting financial customs and tariff analyses, supporting international trade and customs projects, and performing global and country‑specific industry research. The role also involves carrying out microeconomic analyses to help companies comply with customs and international trade regulations, optimize their supply chains, and reduce potential tariff exposure.

Day-to-day Responsibilities:





• Experience in trade compliance, customs, and Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ)

Ensure compliance with global trade regulations, including U.S. Customs regulations, import/export laws, and international trade agreements.

Prepare and submit import/export documentation (e.g., entry summaries, commercial invoices, packing lists) to ensure timely and accurate customs clearance.

Classify goods using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and assess duties, taxes, and trade program eligibility (e.g., USMCA, GSP).

Maintain and monitor records of import/export activity to ensure audit readiness and compliance with customs regulations.

Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to resolve import/export issues and ensure smooth cross-border transactions.
