h3About the Role /h3 /brpWe are looking for an experienced Project Manager to support and manage the development of a hotel project in Southern Italy. The Project Manager will be based primarily in Milan and will serve as the main point of contact and central coordinator between the company, consultants, contractors, vendors, suppliers, authorities and other third parties involved in the project. /p /brpThe candidate should have strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills, with preferably some experience in hospitality, hotel development, real estate or construction. The candidate must be willing and able to travel to the project site in Southern Italy as and when required to monitor project activities, attend meetings and coordinate with local stakeholders.br/bKey Responsibilities /b /p /brpb1. Project management and coordination /b /p /brul /brliManage the day-to-day coordination of the project. /li /brliTrack project timelines, milestones, deliverables and action points. /li /brliMonitor project progress and ensure activities are completed as planned. /li /brliIdentify delays, issues and risks and coordinate appropriate solutions. /li /brliProvide regular updates and reports to management. /li /br /ul /brpb2. Main point of contact /b /p /brul /brliAct as the main point of contact between the company and all project stakeholders. /li /brliCoordinate communication between consultants, contractors, vendors, suppliers and third parties. /li /brliOrganise meetings, follow-ups and action points. /li /brliEnsure all stakeholders are aligned on project requirements, timelines and responsibilities. /li /br /ul /brpb3. Consultant, vendor and third-party management /b /p /brul /brliCoordinate with architects, engineers, designers, contractors, suppliers and specialist consultants. /li /brliTrack deliverables, responsibilities and deadlines. /li /brliFollow up on technical submissions, quotations and required documentation. /li /brliCoordinate vendor requirements and appointments. /li /brliAssist in resolving coordination issues between different parties. /li /br /ul /brpb4. Project site coordination (Southern Italy) /b /p /brul /brliTravel to the project site as and when required. /li /brliCoordinate with local contractors, consultants, suppliers and other stakeholders. /li /brliAttend site meetings and inspections. /li /brliMonitor progress and report site issues to management. /li /brliEnsure decisions and project requirements are properly implemented on site. /li /br /ul /brpb5. Hospitality and hotel project knowledge /b /p /brul /brliHave a good understanding of how the hospitality and hotel industry operates. /li /brliUnderstand the key requirements involved in developing and setting up a hotel, including:

Budget, procurement and commercial coordination /b /p /brul /brliAssist in monitoring project budgets and costs. /li /brliReview and coordinate quotations and proposals from vendors and contractors. /li /brliCoordinate with finance and commercial teams regarding invoices, payments and contracts. /li /brliTrack variations and additional costs. /li /brliSupport procurement and vendor selection activities. /li /br /ul /brpb8. Risk and quality management /b /p /brul /brliIdentify project risks, delays and potential issues. /li /brliCoordinate with relevant parties to resolve problems. /li /brliMonitor the quality and compliance of project activities. /li /brliEscalate critical issues to management with appropriate recommendations. /li /br /ul /brpb9. Reporting and documentation /b /p /brul /brliMaintain project records and documentation. /li /brliPrepare project updates, trackers and status reports. /li /brliMaintain meeting minutes and action trackers. /li /brliTrack approvals, submissions, deliverables and pending items. /li /brliEnsure important project decisions and communications are properly documented. /li /br /ul /brpb10. Completion and handover /b /p /brul /brliAssist in coordinating project completion and handover activities. /li /brliCoordinate snagging, testing and commissioning. /li /brliTrack completion of outstanding works. /li /brliEnsure required documentation, certifications and warranties are collected.
